Progress and Forward Momentum

Hello,

I feel like I'm moving forward with my writing and art lately. It's hard to tell, but I'd been feeling stuck for a while. With Treloria posting, my putting up a lot of artwork, and even finishing Chapter 5 of Gem of the Lilac (to go up this coming Wednesday), I feel like I'm making progress instead of spinning my wheels.

As you could probably tell, though, I'm not the most consistent with marketing and promotion. Whenever thinking of marketing in the past, I had liked the idea of posting short stories or even short scenes. One problem has been that my ideas lean toward novel-length while my writing itself currently does not. But, the best way to work on writing is to write, so I told myself that if I could come up with 21 sentences, then I should have plenty of concepts for short stories or scenes to work with. So, I managed to write 21 sentences.

It will take some time to work on these on top of everything else, but the time and effort to write them should be worth the experience and overall enjoyment of writing.

Also as a note, if I can manage to write and post five of the short works, I will place one ad at the top of the blog here, but that will be all.

In other news, I have also started a cross-stitch project and I'll post progress updates of that on Instagram.
