After Camp NaNoWriMo: A Failed Goal, but A Passed Class
First of all, I’d like to congratulate everyone who participated in this Camp NaNoWriMo! Whether you only got one word in or made your goal, you’ve made it through a tough month for a variety of reasons. It’s been a lot, but we’ve made it through to today and that is wonderful.
As for myself, I went “full potato” near the end. Youtube and incremental games utterly sucked me in, so I got nowhere near my goal for the month. I even had a few zero days. Actually, my first draft of Crimson Red had eleven straight zero days, and I still finished it within three months.
Ultimately, things will be okay.
On a high note, I took my final exam for my accounting class early and ended up passing the class! So, I don’t have to worry about studying for a little while.
Also, I’d like to try the four hours of working again. I would adjust it to this order: Freewriting first, then writing, working on art, and then editing. Even though I’ve failed at it before, it’s such a nice idea that I’d like to give it another chance. Also, it would be nice to steadily work on projects rather than have extreme highs or lows. I can’t say for certain if I will get back to it, but if I do I’ll start it again on Monday (May 4th). We’ll see.
For now, stay safe everyone! Let’s take things a day at a time.
